Kwento ko lang may nag-feeling McGyver don sa office namin last Saturday. Girl daw ung nag-da-drive nyang car. Galing sa sa PL {parking lot} na nasa taas ng UG where the car fell... yang bridge na yan eh is also known as the SMOKING AREA kasi lahat ng mga taga-Globe pag yosi break jan nagpupunta. jan din ang meeting place nung iba kasi yan ang pinaka-entrance/exit ng bldg eh. Good thing and no one got hurt, imagine if someone was smoking don eh di flakda siya... tsk tsk! And good thing din kasi she fell off the bridge hindi don sa LG {lower ground} kung hindi, gosh! ewan ko lang kung ma-carry pa nya yon.

Ang chika eh paatras na siya dapat sa parking lot eh gumasgas siya sa gilid ng poste, instead of stepping on the breaks eh gas ang tinapakan, hayan! Sayang wala me sa office that time kasi LF {leave for the family} ako last saturday eh. Kala lahat ng tao sa floor namin {5th floor} eh lumilindol na... sayang di pa tuluyang sumabog yung bldg para wala kaming pasok, haha! Joke lang po.

Well these are haka-hakang story. I'm not really sure about what really happen talaga. Hope the woman is not hurt sa nangyari ng sobra. Kaya for those who drives, ingat lang po. Sh*t happens as they say.

[ The Da Vinci Code ]

Last night best treat me for the Nth time to see the controversial "THE DA VINCI CODE", at may kapalit pala yon -- ang pag-line up for 1 1/2 hr sa Gateway pabili ng ticket. Grabe ha! Ang haba ng pila. I arrived alone sa Gateway around 5pm. At first sabi ko ayoko na manood kasi ang haba ng pila and feeling ko hindi rin kami makakanood kasi parang pagdating ko sa dulo ng line eh sold out lahat ng tix. around 630pm na ako natapos bumili ng ticket. Panalo ito! And take note I haven't eaten my lunch yet that time kasi tanghali (as usual) ako nagising. Hehe! Kaya while on line feeling ko mahihimatay na ako sa gutom. I can't leave the line kasi since I'm alone baka pagbalik ko eh di na ako umabot sa 750pm screening time.

By the way, let me make kwento lang na muntik na akong lumagpas ng train sa MRT. Kasi naman diba I'm not used to go down Cubao station since Boni ako lagi off to work. My bad din kasi I'm texting my dad. When I noticed na medyo marami na yung sumasakay pagtingin ko sa window Cubao na... yikes! kahiya kasi nagmamadali me bumaba ng train. Siguro sabi nung mga nakasakay "hayan kasi text ng text..." haha! Kahiya tuloy.

Anyway, back to the movie... after buying tickets I went off to KFC Farmers to eat my late lunch and merienda and to eat my dinner na rin. Ayus! 3 in one ito! Best arrived around 7pm as expected so after we ate medyo binagalan nalang namin ang lakad to Gateway then we bought NY Fries para mas maganda ang movie.

Now the movie. Sobrang kabaliktaran ang haka-haka ng iba. At first syempre takot ako kasi sabi nila if you watch movie or if read the book it'll somehow question your faith, but after seeing the movie it made me more realized that it doesn't matter what other people say nga... and true what Robert Langdon who my fave Tom Hanks quote "the only thing that matters is what you believe in..." w/c is true becuase sabi nga nila kahit baliktarin mo ang mundo kung yun ang paniniwala mo eh wala namang pipigil sa'yo eh.

At the end, mas lalo pang naging mas matatag ang faith ko. Yes the movie truely is a mind twister but it's a fiction and a theory lang and no one in the end is to blame. Kung changes in your faith occur, it's because you wanted it so. Good thing din kasi si Best eh partly read the book kaya medyo may interpreter ako, haha!

Lahat tayo may fave part sa movie right, ang akin was when Langdon found out where the Holy Grail is... God! the scene was truely perfect. Hair raising ito talaga. I like the way he kneeled down to pray. Sheesh! If I were that siguro baka nagstart na me maghukay like what Silas or Salis, basta yung Ghost chuva did, joke!

Galing ni Tom Hanks and Audrey Tautou! Sana nga binuo na nila yung book eh... 5hrs ito kung nagkataon. Hehe! And kung sakali eh baka morning palang eh nasa Gateway na ako nakapila ulit! haha!

[ Mother's Day ]

Yesterday was a very special day to all our MOMMIES in the world -- yes! I woke up holding my cellphone to send a text message to my mommy dearest. I didn't call kasi I know I'll shed a tear, joke! Well, this is the day na we need to be reminded that our MOM is reason why we're here on earth. Sometimes if I think about it, I find myself wondering na "grabe! hirap siguro maging ina noh?"

Well since it's Mother's day, let me blog about my Mom narin. :) My mom's name is MARCELINA MALASAGA LOBITAÑA. She was born on August 2, and she's now 61. A mother of 3 girls. She's a retired NURSE and she used to work at Riyadh Saudi Arabia. I think she worked din sa Iran with my Dad before. But I don't know how long nga lang.

My mom is a great cook! As in sarap talaga magluto nyan. Baking, cooking and making desserts name it. Basta ba lahat ng ingredients available eh, y not! :) All moms nga ata eh maingay sabi nila, probably because masyado silang masinop. Ang mom ko pag sinabi "GENERAL CLEANING" -- ay naku! mula kisame hanggang sahig linis ito. But now she's more on making turo-turo nalang on what to do kasi she got sick last year and medyo humina na ang katawan nya.

I love her so much kasi she's the reason why I'm working and to her I get my strenght. I want my dreams fulfilled because gusto ko siya pagamot eh. She needs to go andiogram pero hindi kaya ng budget ko -- seryoso ito ha! Hay naku, enough of that baka maiyak pa ako nito, hehe!

By the way, I'm the youngest my Mom's the eldest naman among her 12 siblings. And yes, 12 ito kung 12. You know naman before walang family planning ever, hehe! She grew up at Pangasinan and got her degree as a Nurse sa University of Dagupan. Before gusto nyang maging nurse din ako eh pero matigas ang ulo ko't iba ang kinuha kong course sa college. Mom knows best sabi nila, they're right kasi siguro kung naging nurse ako, ako na nag-aalaga sa mom ko pag may sakit. haay... buhay!

Fave joke ng mom ko ay yung walang kamatayang TOOTHPICK story. Guess everyone heard about it na. When I was young, she'd always tell that story sa mga friends namin until I realized na yun at yun lagi ang joke nya. Nung nagka-isip ako, natatawa ako not because of the story but because paulit-ulit siya. haha! Si mami talaga!

Yun lang naman ang masasabi ko about my Mom. and like teLitzie I created a digisrap for my mom. I'll print it din and will give it to her on my day-off. Hope she'll like it. :)

Training Day w/ WHD

Yesterday, instead of my off TL told me that I have to attend a training w/ WHD (Wireless HelpDesk) people. Well as much as I wanted to rest for that day naisip ko nalang na "I'll learn from this training." Start of the training is scheduled at 8am, pero sa kasarapan ng tulog ko't may bagyo kasi 11am ako nagising. Panalo! Katext ko na si Ceejhay ng morning palang pero nakatulog ako ulit eh, sorry Ceej... hehe! Sarap kaya matulog noh! Try mo! :)

So, dumating ako sa office around 1pm na ata and as expected LUNCH BREAK! Kaya nagkita nalang kami with the rest of the trainees sa Rob Pioneer -- ang so called Tower 3 ng Globe, hehe!

After having a full stomach deretso na sa training room. As expected syempre si S'Alfred super duper gulat at may humbol pa. Hiya man ako pero kinapalan ko na yung mukha ko... kaysa naman di ako umattend eh di panibagong schedule na naman ito kung sakali. Hehe! Half-way na pala sila sa module... gosh!

After the explanations ang everything, the demo and all... a short exam na. Di na ako pinag-exam ni S'Alfred siguro dahil alam nyang wala akong isasagot. Sayang open notes pa naman, I'm good at open notes. Hehe! Perfect ito kung perfect... joke! Evaluation test nalang ang pinasagutan sa akin. Panalo! :)

So syempre after ng training, nagpunta kami sa SM Megamall w/ Heidz and S'Marky for quick dinner and bonding time. My gosh! Since medyo maulan since may bagyo eh grabe ang layo ng narating ng kwentuhan namin sa cab ha. Nagsimula sa secret love-life ni Ceej, then lovestory naman ng newly wed na si Heidz tapos sa pagiging TL dati ni S'Marky. Hanggang sa wholesome na yung topic namin... haha! Well, what can I say at least we had fun sa cab. Kung baga sa title para kay Kuya Jess eh "TAXI" -- haha!

Summer Sarap Jive

Last Saturday after a long day of answering calls, lahat kaming GlobeSolutions cluster went to a night swimming sa Calamba Laguna. Patawa pa nito a day before nag-pasa si S'Ken (our dearest CH) a letter na parang waiver, lahat kami "ano 'to field trip?" hehe! Pasaway!

All of us are so excited kasi finally, ngayon lang kami nagkaroon ng bonding with our new CH na sobrang kikay pag out of the office na. Maganda rin yung mga may ganitong outing kasi at least nawawala yung stress sa mga kikay chuva namin sa work. Imagine answering calls everyday for min of 7hrs? Stressful diba? Isipin mo palang grabe na, what more kung ginagawa mo na. As I've said before, it's not that we're not happy with the company we're with but with the work that we have as the frontliners of the corporate hotline. Ayy ambot sa imo... anyway, continue w/ the story (pati dito nadadala ko pa yung stress ko). Kasi naman, Wednesday na ngayon kaya eh nangyari 'to last Saturday pa. Kasi paguwi ko ng house, I'm so tired na that all I want to do is to sleep agad. Haay!

Anway, 6:30pm we left the Globe Tel Plaza na. Medyo traffic kaya we arrived mga 8:30pm na ata. Sabi nila if not traffic we'll be there by 7:30pm pero wala eh. As expected, sa SLEX palang bumper to bumper na. After that when we arrived Calamba, sa crossing palang traffic na ulit. San ka pa?!

Si Jaja kumakanta na sa videoke... panalo ito! Videoke machine? Wow! Ehem! Knowing yours truly na truely fanatic sa mga videoke na yan... "paki enter nga 7805..." joke! Syempre pagdating don, ang MYMP fanatic kumanta ng "GET ME" -- the best ito!

Swimming ever ang mga beuties ng Globe. Si Maru nga ang gusto talaga mag-swimming, ako hindi ready talga. "pakilabas nga yung towel ko sa bag..." --- partida di ready yan ha! Joke ulit. Pero honestly, it turned out hot ng sobra while we were all singing... Kim made yaya na to swim. Ay syempre ang lola mo go ito ever. Si Maru? Hayun naiwan pa sa loob ng room... hehe! kaya hayan nauna pa ang mag-swim ever.

After dinner and a night full of laughter kasi si Flloyd mega enter ang theme song ng famous WOWOWEE... yes! Stampede ito! Haha! Lahat kami sing along ever -- "WOWOWEE sinong di mawiwili..." yes! kabisado pa with actions. hehe! You're the best Flloyd! :) You made the night more colorful.

Syempre there are certain things that can't be told. Sabi nga ni S'Ken, secretong malupit ito. Hehe! But the night turned out great. Sa sobrang great, grabe di na me nakauwi kasi ayaw ni S'Ken magpauwi.

We left the private villa at around 4:30am. Winner ito 1hr lang ang tulog ko. Good thing though is Sunday is my day off since Bernie took my Friday off. Hehe! Buti na lang, otherwise bangag ang lola mo.

SIX WEIRD FACTS ABOUT ME

Happy Family

Me and my family went out for a lunch date today. Mother's day is coming soon narin kasi so since nagyaya si daddi, I might as well advance the treat for today. We went around the mall first then ate lunch @ good old Pizza Hut. Syempre mawawala pa ba yung pagiging senti ng daddi ko... nag-muni2x sa mga dinner date din namin dati sa Saudi. Haha! Tatay ko talaga. :)

Today is my rest day, so family day today... pero bitin ako for today kasi tomorrow work ulit... broke off kasi me for this week eh... but you know what I'm so excited for Saturday kasi our GlobeSolutions cluster will have a salo-salo together at Laguna. I'm so excited for that. :)

Job Hunting Part 2

Well last week, me and the rest of the group from this certain phone store gathered together to try our luck working elsewhere, hehe! I won't mention the place kasi baka puntahan nyo eh. Joke!

Viavi, Joy and Me went to an agency near SM Bicutan to have a face to face interview with the vampire (joke ulit!) --- face to face interview talaga with the employer. Gosh! First time ito ever... hehe! Pasaway! Masaya naman siya pero sobrang tagal ng hinintay ko kaysa don sa interview. Kasi naman out of what 30 I think I was the 4th one to be interviewed first tapos hetong si Via and Joy asus! sa dulo pa ata sila... eh di goodluck sa akin diba? Ang init init don sa labas ng gate! Panalo!

After that exhausting long wait, the three of us indulge ourselves to a wonderful meal --- syempre sa Jollibee lang kami kumain. Panalo ulit diba? Mga kuripot nagsama-sama! Haha! Sana lang may kalabasan itong lakad na ito... I hope and pray, like Via always say "this iz it..."
